  • Payment is due prior to or on the day of each session unless a block booking agreement is in place
  • Block booking fees are payable in advance of the first session in the block
  • Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking
  • Receipts are available on request

5. Cancellations & Missed Sessions

πŸ“Œ Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule β€” this allows the slot to be offered to another family.

  • 48 hours or more notice: Full refund or session rescheduled at no charge
  • 24–48 hours notice: 50% of session fee charged, or session rescheduled (subject to availability)
  • Less than 24 hours notice or no-show: Full session fee charged

In the event that Coral needs to cancel a session, you will be offered a full refund or alternative appointment at no extra charge.

For block bookings, missed sessions without adequate notice will be counted as used sessions within the block.

6. Ending Sessions or the Working Relationship

  • Either party may end the working relationship at any time by giving reasonable written notice
  • Coral reserves the right to end a session immediately or terminate the working relationship if she believes it is in the best interests of the child's safety or wellbeing, or if these terms are breached
  • Coral may recommend that a family seeks additional or alternative support if she feels this would better serve the child's needs
  • Unused sessions in a block booking will be refunded pro-rata if the working relationship ends at Coral's initiation

7. Confidentiality

All information shared during sessions is treated with the utmost confidentiality. Session content will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where there is a safeguarding concern or legal obligation to do so.

Please refer to the Safeguarding Policy for full details of when confidentiality may need to be broken.

8. Recording of Sessions

Sessions must not be recorded by parents, carers or children without the prior written consent of Coral Mitchell. Coral will not record sessions without the prior written consent of the parent or carer. Any agreed recordings are for the sole use of the parties concerned and must not be shared, published or posted online.

9. Technical Issues

In the event of technical difficulties preventing a session from taking place, Coral will make every reasonable effort to reconnect or reschedule the session at no additional charge. If technical issues are on the client's side and the session cannot take place, the cancellation policy in Section 5 will apply.
